“Love at First Site”
Engagement Session – New Hope, Pennsylvania

Ali & Derek are the true definition of childhood sweethearts, growing up in the same town and meeting when they were only 14 & 15 years old. Although their relationship did not officially begin until years later, they always knew they had strong feelings for each other and it didn’t take long before he knew she was the one. Ever since then they have been inseparable, spending many of nights laughing, getting to know each other and sharing some of their favorite music together.

The couple was engaged during the summer of 2010 on July 6th. Derek decided to pop the question while they were vacationing with a small group of close friends. While posing for some group photographs he got down on one knee and the rest is history. Although some were “in” on the event, a few were just as shocked as Ali was. After the proposal the couple celebrated over dinner and drinks at their resort.

Their engagement session took place in New Hope, Pennsylvania. If you have never visited the town of New Hope it is a great place for an engagement session since there are no shortage of beautiful side streets, wonderful bridges and great architecture to shoot in and around. The couple had a blast posing, laughing and just being together for their photo shoot and I think that comes across in their engagement photographs.

They will be married on November 5, 2011 at St. Pauls Cathedral in Princeton, New Jersey and the reception will take place at The Cranbury Inn in Cranbury, New Jersey.
